Make Valentine’s Day Sweeter with Viktoria Richards Chocolates
Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday and has been since I was a little girl. I loved getting Valentine’s from my classmates and to this day I have an obsession with candy conversation hearts. My mom always made gift baskets for my brother and I filled with chocolates, red candy and some sort of heart-shaped gift. She has continued to do that with my children and at five and three years of age, they love Valentine’s Day as much as their mamma does. For the month of February, I am going to feature a post a day dedicated to Valentine’s Day and the romantic restaurants, food products, places and shops I love in Tampa Bay. xoxoxoxoxo
In December of 2010, I made a sweet discovery while visiting Cru Cellars in South Tampa. After enjoying a nice glass of Pinot Noir and some scrumptious artisanal cheeses, I decided to order a few pieces of chocolate off their menu. One bite and I was in pure chocolate bliss. Excited about the divine chocolate I had just discovered, I asked to purchase a box to take home and was delighted to find out that these decadent pieces of edible art were locally made. A month later I had the honor of meeting the chocolatier herself, Victoria Richards, at the Chocolate Sunday expo in Clearwater. I featured her company, Viktoria Richards in my blog that same month and have been a fan ever since. (To read my article from last year, click here: Viktoria Richards Chocolates = Delicious Art) I have known Victoria for a year and we both share a passion for chocolate and shoes. She is my kinda gal!
Viktoria Richards chocolates are not only delectable, they are stunningly beautiful. There is something for everyone with flavors such as Cinnamon, Espresso, Wild Berry Pinot Noir, Key Lime, Mojito, Florida Blueberry Wine, Fleur de Sel, Peanut Butter, Pumpkin Orange Caramel and more. I can’t think of a better way to show my love for friends and family than with a box of Viktoria Richards chocolates. In addition to artisanal chocolates, she also offers signature bars, chocolate tiles, truffles and assorted chocolate covered nuts such as almonds, hazelnuts, and macadamia nuts.
