Heat Up Your Watch Party for Super Bowl 47 with Firehouse Subs

January 21, 2013 6 Comments by Champagne Girl

Yesterday’s championship games were sensational. Those that know me know that I am a die-hard Steelers fan,  but being from the San Francisco Bay area, I have a special place in my heart for the 49ers. Growing up, I was blessed too have met many players, including Joe Montana. I waited on him and his wife about ten years ago and they were very nice. To this day, I still have the tip I received from Joe and will never spend it. The 49ers have been playing incredible football for the last two years and I am very proud of them. I am ecstatic that they will be in the Super Bowl and want nothing more than for them to beat the Ravens and bring another championship to my beloved city by the bay.

Like most, I will be inviting a few friends over for the big game and I usually spend an entire day in the kitchen. For those of you that prefer to have your Super Bowl party catered, I have the perfect place for you to get some tasty subs for the big game. With locations throughout the Tampa Bay Area, Firehouse Subs is ideal for making your Super Bowl party a night to remember and they are currently offering a special for $10 off your catering order of $100 or more. With tons of scrumptious subs, salads and more, their catering menu is filled with delicious options that will make you score with your guests. Their Sub Platter will feed ten and is made with provolone and your choice of smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, premium roast beef, or sliced chicken. Subs include lettuce, tomatoes, onion, & vinaigrette, with mayo, mustard, & pickles on the side. You can upgrade to a Platter Pack which include tea or lemonade, Lay’s Classic® chips, cookies, plates, and napkins.

Having been to Firehouse Subs several times, I love the quality and taste of their subs, especially their Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket.  Made with USDA Choice beef brisket smoked over hickory for 16 hours, then smothered in melted cheddar and special sauces, it is just incredible. Big games require big flavors, and this one gets my MVP vote!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Firehouse Subs co-founder, Robin Sorensen, and learned a lot about the background of this tasty concept. Check out the video below and see why their subs are so darn delicious!
