Big Wings at Buckets Tavern & Tap
Happy Wingsday! Today I have a cool new spot that recently opened in the Carrollwood area that is quickly becoming known for big flavors and even bigger tv screens. Located at 4535 Gunn Highway, Buckets Tavern & Tap is a hot new sports bar that opened less than a month ago and is quickly gaining popularity for their awesome selection of draft beers, their huge tv screens and their tasty menu. Since opening on September 28th, I have been there about four times and I have tried all of their wing flavors. With choices of mild, medium, hot, hottest and honey bbq, they offer the classics and each order is served with your choice of ranch or blue cheese and celery sticks.
Big and juicy, their wings are naked and fried crispy. My favorite sauce is their “hottest” which packs a powerful punch of spice and a slightly smokey flavor.
With 14 giant projector screens, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Their friendly staff is eager to serve you and they offer great prices on drinks including wells for $3.50 and Happy Hour Monday through Friday with $1 off drinks from 11am until 7pm. They also have 24 beers on tap including a few selections from Tampa Bay’s Cigar City Brewing. You can get $0.50 wings on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I love it, 4 days of $0.50 wings!
In addition to the great food and drink specials, they also have classic video games such as Froger and Golden Tee, pool tables and darts, Touch Tunes, live music on select nights and the NFL ticket. Truly, there is something for everyone at Buckets.
It’s giveaway time! I am offering a $25 Gift Certificate to Buckets Tavern & Tap. To enter, simply do any of the following and receive one entry per item. Be sure and comment on this post and state what items you have completed. I will pick a winner on November 9th.
